General Terms & Conditions

These general terms and conditions regulate the legal relationship between you and the official Swiss Snowsports School Andermatt GmbH (further known as SSA). The contract between you and the SSA comes with the implicit acceptance of your registration. From this moment on the rights and responsibilities within the contract (along with the general contract requirements) are binding for you and the SSA.

INSTRUCTION

Instruction takes place despite prevailing weather conditions excepting where the lift company closes its facilities. Cancellation of booked instruction must take place by 4 p.m. on the day prior to the lesson either by telephone or email. Later cancellations will be charged at 100 %.

CHILDREN'S INSTRUCTION

Should the minimum number per group not be achieved the SSA reserves the right to bring groups together or to adjust instruction timings. If there are less of four (4) participants the lesson will be canceled. You are advised to book in advance.

PAYMENT

Cash in the form of CHF as well as Maestro, Postcard, Mastercard, Visa and REKA-Card are accepted.

SKI PASSES

The ski passes for the SkiArena Andermatt-Sedrun are not included in the cost of instruction. These can be purchased directly from all sales offices of the Andermatt-Sedrun Sport AG or, for guests staying in “The Chedi Andermatt”, directly at the hotel.

REFUNDS

There are no refunds for non-used days or coupons. Subscriptions are not transferable. By illness or accident a doctor’s certificate is required. Where instruction is hindered by force majeure (snow fall, wind storms, avalanche danger or other unforeseen events) no refund will be made.

ACCIDENTS

Should an accident take place before, during or after the taking up of a service-offer or an activity of the SSA, during a snowsports instruction or a competition, the SSA rejects all responsibility. Accident and personal liability insurance are the individuals' responsibility of the participants.

PLACE OF JURISDICTION

In all matters relating to legislation, between you and the SSA, swiss law takes precedent and the responsible court is Andermatt. Tariff changes and printing errors may occur.
