Spend three cool days in the snow and learn everything about freeriding. Provided that you are a good skier. The event is made possible by our main partner Imholz Sport Andermatt and the collaboration of the Swiss Snow Sports School Andermatt.
Course content
Freeride technique, avalanche training, reading and interpreting avalanche bulletins, avalanche awareness, choosing lines and stops, jumps, as well as understanding the work of the slope and rescue service staff.
Recommended age
12 to 16 years – kids have to be good skiers on the slopes
Please note
If the minimum number is not reached, groups can be combined or course times adjusted. If there are less than four participants, the course can be cancelled. Price includes lunch but excludes ski passes for the Andermatt-Sedrun Sport AG. If you rent equipment, you will receive a voucher in advance which entitles you to purchase the equipment.
Required equipment
Freeride ski and safety set (backpack, avalanche transceiver, avalanche probe and avalanche shovel). Complete equipment can be rented.
